The Rolex Milgauss was developed in the 1950s for scientists working in environments with strong magnetic fields. Its name derives from its resistance to magnetic interference up to 1,000 gauss, and its distinctive lightning bolt seconds hand has become a hallmark of the model’s identity.

Magnetic Resistance

This reference, from 2010, features an intense black dial with white and orange hour markers, housed in a 40mm Oystersteel case with a smooth bezel. The Oyster bracelet is fitted with Easylink and an Oysterclasp, while the calibre 3131 automatic movement delivers approximately 48 hours of power reserve.
